APIRL VIRTUAL TRAINING ON BUSINESS ANALYSIS

The Visiola Foundation’s One-Month Training on Business Analysis Using Excel is a practical training program designed to equip women with essential data analysis and decision-making skills using Excel. This program will provide participants with a strong foundation in business analytics, enabling them to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions in professional settings.

The training will take place every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (WAT) for one month starting Apirl 1, 2025 , with sessions held only online via Zoom.

Participants will engage in hands-on exercises, case studies, and real-world projects, covering key business analysis concepts such as data visualization, trend analysis, and financial modeling using Excel.

The specific objectives of the training are:

1. A stronger foundation in business analysis and data interpretation using Excel.

2. Increased knowledge and confidence in handling and analyzing business data for decision-making.

3. To enable participants to use Excel for data visualization, trend analysis, and financial modeling.

4. To equip participants with technical skills in business analysis that will enhance their employability and career opportunities.

Through this coding bootcamp, the Visiola Foundation seeks to increase the number of women in computer science with a view to create a pipeline of professionals who will leverage technology in developing innovative solutions to Africa’s most pressing challenges.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Must be an African woman aged 17 – 30 years.
2. Must have received her primary and secondary education in an African country (certificates to be verified).
3. Must be available for the full duration of the bootcamp.
4. Must have a laptop or borrow one for the duration of the bootcamp.
